HI! This is the first entry of our blog! AND we feel that it would be nice to have the first entry, suitingly to be about our first meal of the day, the breakfast! The place we decided to go to this time is a relatively well known breakfast place in the heart of Melbounr city: European.(contact detials and locations pls see above)
The following pics shows what i ordered, credits to the girl for the great pics(she has developed her own philosophy and unique sets of skills of taking pictures of food down the years). The eggs benedict is, of course, everyone's favourite when it comes to breakfast, and it is mine too! Eggs Benedict in European have won rave reviews in various breakfast blogs and even with such high expectations, this eggs benedict totally hit the spot. There is a generous amount of hollandaise sauce on it which was rich and creamy, which taste has been enhanced by a touch of what i presumed to be cayenne pepper and is also visually pleasing. Combining it with a couple of beautifully poached eggs(which few places can do well) a huge amount of grilled ham(a rather nice touch having it grilled, hats off to the chef!), and a nice piece of ciabata bread, this eggs benedict is so divine that i find myself wanting to go back for more every sunday morning. Definitely a palce worth visitting=) FOUR STARSS!

There is no way better way to start a first entry as breakfast ! On this fine day, we made a trip down to European, one of the well known breakfast places in melbourne. It definately lived up to its name!
European breakfast was my choice! The best word to describe this was YUM! The highlight of the dish was definately the scrambled eggs. Its milky texture along with the juicy mushrooms binded the dry components together so its not dry at all! My favourite thing to do is to grab a bit of every component and experience a wonderful emulsification of flavours and texture. Awesome!
One of the best breakfast!
